Your rate is set once, when you create the event, from its expected size — capacity multiplied by ticket price. Not by which plan you are on, and not by what kind of event you are running. It is frozen onto the event at creation, so a rate change never restates tickets already sold.

Floor of ₹3 and cap of ₹75 per ticket, so a ₹20 ticket is never eaten by a percentage and a ₹5,000 one is never gouged by it. Razorpay's gateway fee is 3% on top; that is their fee, not ours. Free events pay nothing at all.

Yes. A free event costs nothing to run on Vihaya Events — no platform fee, no per-ticket charge and no monthly subscription, with unlimited attendees, QR tickets and check-in included.
The platform fee is 1.75–4.5% per ticket, set by the expected size of your event (capacity × ticket price) and fixed when you create it. Bigger events get a lower rate. The Razorpay payment gateway charge of 3% applies on top.
You choose. Pass the fee to attendees and they pay it at checkout while you keep your full ticket price, or absorb it and attendees pay exactly the price you set. New events start with the fee passed on.
Yes. Vihaya's share is at least ₹3 per booking, so a very cheap sale still covers its cost, and never more than ₹75 per ticket, so expensive tickets are capped. Most tickets fall between the two and simply pay the percentage.
No. There is no setup fee, no monthly plan and no contract. You pay only the per-ticket platform fee of 1.75–4.5% on paid tickets you actually sell, and nothing at all on free events.
No. The platform fee is quoted as one flat percentage with GST already included in it, so nothing is added on top of the rate shown. The payment gateway charge is separate and set by Razorpay.
Request a payout any time from your dashboard once your balance is at least ₹100. Payouts are sent by UPI and usually arrive within 2 working days of the request.
Larger events get a lower rate automatically — the fee falls from 4.5% for small events to 1.75% for the biggest. For very large, recurring or multi-event programmes, contact the team to discuss a negotiated rate.
Two, and only if you turn them on: phone verification by SMS code adds 0.5% on paid events, and tickets on WhatsApp add 0.5% on paid events. Email verification, QR check-in, certificates and analytics carry no extra charge.
