Ticket design and the ticket email

Step by step

1. 1Open Ticket Design0:04Open Ticket Design in your editor. Every ticket has the attendee name, the event, a ticket ID and a QR code to scan at the gate.
2. 2Pick a template0:14Pick Boarding Pass, which is the default, or Modern Pass.
3. 3Upload your own artwork0:18To use your own design, pick Your own design and upload your artwork. A phone shaped image, 1080 by 1920, works well, and the ticket takes its shape.
4. 4Place the details0:30Now design it. Under Design your ticket, click Start from the standard layout. The name, QR code, ticket ID, date and venue are placed on your artwork.
5. 5Move and resize0:41Drag any box to move it. Pull its corner to make it bigger or smaller.
6. 6Style a box0:46Click a box to change its size, colour, bold, capitals or alignment. Each ticket prints the attendee's own details in that spot.
7. 7Add your own text0:55Add your own text too, like a welcome line or a gate number. Seats, team name, price and ticket type can go on the ticket as well.
8. 8Check the preview1:04The preview below is the real PDF, made by the same code as the checkout. What you see is what your attendees get.
9. 9Save1:13Save your changes. Every new ticket uses this design, for every member of a team too.
10. 10Write the ticket email1:19In your dashboard, open Ticket Email. Change the subject and add your own message. Use name and event to personalise it.
11. 11Send yourself a test1:28Click Send me a test to see the email before your attendees do.
